Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.), was considered as one of the top athletes in sports. As a U.S. female gymnast, Biles was one of the few to achieve four golds in a single Games during the 2016 Olympics. She is also the first person to win three world championships in succession. Biles was born in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Biles and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to be interested in gymnastics when she was just 6. Coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them on a field trip. Biles won a gold in floor exercise and a bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of competition in 2011. Within two years she had won the discipline. Biles was notable because of her unstoppable performance exuberant attitude and the level of difficulty that she included throughout each competition--vault bars that were uneven, balance beam and ground exercise.
